Figure S2. Hypothetical Firing Rate

چکیده
the value of good X (x-axis) and such that the response is menu dependent (red when X is offered against Y, blue when X is offered against Z). Transitivity violations (i.e., cases where x-axis orderings are not conserved on the y-axis) are possible, as for X1, X2, X3. However, if the representation is menu invariant (i.e., if red and blue lines coincide), transitivity violations cannot occur. In other words, menu invariance implies transitivity.

Correction: Dynamic Grouping of Hippocampal Neural Activity During Cognitive Control of Two Spatial Frames
In S2 Fig., the second and third rows of firing rate maps in panel A are swapped and incorrectly labeled "arena frame" and "room frame" respectively. Instead, the second row should be labeled “room frame” and the third row should be labeled “arena frame”. Also, the spatial coherence numbers for the fourth row of firing rate maps in panel A were incorrectly duplicated from the first row. Please ...
متن کاملTactile roughness: neural codes that account for psychophysical magnitude estimates.
Hypothetical neural codes underlying the sensation of tactile roughness were investigated in a combined psychophysical and neurophysiological study. The stimulus set consisted of plastic surfaces embossed with dot arrays of varying dot diameter and center-to-center spacing. Human subjects explored each surface with the pad of the index finger and reported their subjective sense of roughness mag...
متن کاملFeedback Enhances Feedforward Figure-Ground Segmentation by Changing Firing Mode
In the visual cortex, feedback projections are conjectured to be crucial in figure-ground segregation. However, the precise function of feedback herein is unclear. Here we tested a hypothetical model of reentrant feedback. We used a previous developed 2-layered feedforward spiking network that is able to segregate figure from ground and included feedback connections. Our computer model data sho...
